So I thought I'd give you bloggers out there an update on my ordinary life. And if you don't wanna hear this, i guess you don't have to read on :)
Basically, I'm in the middle of my year 11 half yearly exams. With English and Maths over, I've got Ancient History, Drama, Community and Family Studies, Visual Arts and Extension English. For those of you that don't know, those are my subjects. I really should be studying, but here I am blogging. I'm really good at procrastinating, aren't I? I'm doing a good job at bludging. I should be studying for my exam, and I'll do so later.
So lately I've just been watching One Tree Hill basically non-stop. I'm just obsessed, really. I feel as though I'm inspired by Peyton Sawyer. She's just so unique, and I love her character. Then again I really like most of the characters. But I guess Peyton's influenced me in music... I'm listening to a whole lot of music, a big variety. A year ago, I never really listened to rock/punk music. I know, punk sounds like emo, but it's not. Try listening to Dashboard Confessional, Jimmy Eat World, Yellowcard... you'll see what I mean. It's good music. I think for you to truly LOVE music, you have to listen to a variety. Though I will always stay away from Screamo. Hate hate hate it. And rap music, well.. most of it I'm not into. Anyway, so basically I was a real girly girl. Obsessed with music like Hilary Duff *cringe* except I still like some of her music.. anyway so what I'm saying is I'm listening to a whole bunch of music now. And I think it's good :) Stiff Dylans, another love. From Angus, Thongs and perfect snogging. They're heaps good. I love U2, The Cure, Ray Lamontagne, Boys like Girls, and a lot more.
I'm also a big fan of my dance and pop music. That will never change. I'm just broadening my taste, I guess :) So try it out. Listening to VARIETY. It's goood.
