'The Reader'

Wow.

Now I can see why Kate Winslet won the oscar this year for best actress! She definately deserved it, especially after Titanic, The Holiday, Finding Neverland, etc. She's just amazing actress, I really like her :] The way she portrayed Hanna Schmitz in the movie from the book, according to my brothers fiancee, was perfect. The entire movie did the book justice. I think, personally, the story was beautiful. The love that they had for eachother was the type that lasted. That never ended. The kind of love that I, and many others in this world, long for... Now, generally the story was kind of sad. I'm not giving any hints away. The kind of sad youre thinking is too obvious. This is different.

Anyway, I do have to say.. it was quite raunchy, especially in the beginning. And I mean a lot of explicit material was placed in this film, which I believe was entirely unnecessary. A lot of full frontals, and with my mum and family next to me.. I mean, could it get any more embarrassing?! LOL.

But, I recommend it. Another good love story. Not as good as twilight, a walk to remember, and titanic, i have to say. But, it did well. A movie worth watching people!



I'm looking forward to the next few movies coming out this year. I've got a few that I want to see..

i previously was 'dying' to see Changeling.. but now i'm not as fussed.
My sister watched it and told me that it wasn't anything spectacular. It was good, and sad..
She likes Angelina Jolie, but doesn't reckon this type of role is for her. She apparently, in my sisters personal opinion, didn't do as well as she could have.. but then again, thats just one persons opinion. And then my sister mentioned the gory five second part in the movie. Really nice, huh. NO WAY! I hate anything horror-ish.. gory.. anything.. I just think its absolutely disgusting and wrong.. and of course scary. I sound like such a wuss.. but oh well. So therefore, I'm not so fussed.

But go and see 'the Reader.' Kate Winslet was FANTASTIC
It's definately a movie worth watching.
